Cross, Reaper, Horror, Killer, Error and Dust are criminals, constantly on the run. They stay on one city then are forced to run to another city once the police find out about them. They're soon forced to flee to a city named Ebott. The city is named after the mountain, and is famous for both the mountain and it's college that came after the monsters were freed. Dream, Geno, Lust, Nightmare, Ink and Blue are some of the many students at the college. Soon after a few days after the new year starts, new students start to go missing and appear days later dead. Dream, Geno, Lust, Nightmare, Ink and Blue wonder if the group of criminals have something to do with the people going missing and dying.

Nightmare has a reputation for being a tough, cruel, negative and evil who only cares for himself and feeding on negativity or defeating his brother Dream. The gang is nothing more than a tool. But that isn't exactly true. He values the members of his gang very highly and would never let anything bad happen to them. They are the friends he never had before.He works hard to ensure they stick around and see him as valuable as he sees them. Killer being one of them. Both of them are hiding secrets from each other. So when a dangerous plan is hatched by Color with the Star Sanses that endangers everything Nightmare worked up to, what will happen? What will come out?
