When Aegon Targaryen conquered Westeros, he not only brought Dragons with him but also Shifters. Shifters are distant cousins of dragons and humans, they can change into the form of a dragon, only a few powerful shifters can change into other things as well. They were said to have gone extinct with the dragons, all but one, the most powerful and the oldest shifter was wounded in the battle that ended the Targaryen dynasty and was forced to flee north off the wall. It is there where Hela Vaelreos, resides watching, waiting to finally be called to battle once more. But what happens when the Night King finds her and she has to leave to the wall earlier than expected?

This story begins right after the end of season 8 as Jon is heading beyond the wall with the wildlings. This is his story and what comes after the end of the show. I will be including some parts from the book and others from the show. This is my first story so please let me know how I can improve my writing. This is a modified version the 'Battle of Winterfell' (GOT S08E03) which I wrote to give life to one of the fan theories I felt was highly intriguing. The story picks up from the scene where the Night King and Daenerys have their confrontation. I have taken some liberties regarding how some supernatural elements of the story work like Bran and Night King's powers etc and also some history.
