The long winter has finally come to Westeros and finds the land torn over a battle for the throne. With the Night King threatening to destroy the core of humanity, the Iron Throne is there for the taking. Winter Had Come is a Game of Thrones fanfiction picking up in Season 8, Episode 3 which follows the theory of Jon becoming the Night King. Some spoilers are littered throughout.

This is a modified version the 'Battle of Winterfell' (GOT S08E03) which I wrote to give life to one of the fan theories I felt was highly intriguing. The story picks up from the scene where the Night King and Daenerys have their confrontation. I have taken some liberties regarding how some supernatural elements of the story work like Bran and Night King's powers etc and also some history.
