The world has settled. The Dragon Riders seemingly disappeared from the world and left so many people with questions. Dragon-kind began vanishing amongst Vikings, and all have wondered why. Meanwhile, New Berk has been rising up higher, keeping peace with the world around them and the dragons themselves. But that all is soon to change. Seventeen years after the war with Grimmel and the dragons leaving, a new threat arises and brings dragons with them. As these enemies seek out something precious to New Berk, Zephyr and Nuffink are suddenly put in charge of defending their home and saving their parents' lives.
