Moon is a Nightlight, the late born son of Toothless and Light Fury, who decided to go exploring outside of the Hidden World and meeting someone highly unexpected. Slasher the Night Fury. a Night Fury who has been alone since he was a 2 week old hatchling because of Grimmel. He has gone from dragon carer to dragon carer to dragon carer until he was fully grown and knew how to survive. He never actually showed himself to anyone until after he heard about the news of Grimmel's death. Now he's as free as he can be.. but neither were never fully safe from the hunters that still remain..

They belong to Dreamworks. the information in this book is mainly from the HTTYD wiki. Along with that I would like to say this: I'm trying to take out any mentions of the films as possible because I want it to feel like this book is apart of the HTTYD world itself which is why there is still mentions of characters from the movies, so if your confused that why. There may also be dragons from HTTYD:The nine Realms (which I would honestly not recommend) but that about it. Anyways have fun reading. :) }

It was known that Toothless was the last Night Fury. In a sense it was poetic really, he was the last of his kind, forever living alone. He had traveled for a long time, almost ten years. That was until he was shot down from the sky after participating in a raid associated with the Red Mother. Toothless was alone in every sense other than having a friend by his side, Hiccup. He was still untrustworthy of the boy, finding offense in how his ability to fly was forever taken, but Hiccup had given him hope. A faux tail fin. Toothless found himself trusting the boy even more, a partnership that would never be severed was formed. It wouldn't ever change, and it never did. Night Furies were extinct, Fishlegs had come up with that. Until a night fury appeared on the island, Toothless had been confused. This triggers the story. What would happen if Toothless met another Night Fury?
