Inspired by the series The Night Agent Ellin Harris lives a normal life in a big city, unaware that her parents are actually FBI spies. One day, an unknown unit of agents attacks their home. In desperation, her father orders her to run and call the secret number they had given her. Following his instructions exactly, Ellin contacts the "Night Line." On the other end of the line is Alex, an agent who tries to help and protect Ellin from the unknown danger. Ellin is eventually evacuated to safety, but she doesn't know who attacked her family or why. With Alex's help, she starts to uncover family secrets involving dangerous intrigues at the highest levels of government. As she journeys towards the truth, Ellin discovers that her parents aren't who she thought they were, and that her future is now tied to the dark secrets of their past.
