An unearthed skeleton begins shifting on its own, haunting the archaeologist who studies it until she vanishes, leaving behind only a warning that it waits for her to look away.

The rain sharpened the smells of smoke and earth, the hazy cloud of light above a distant city glimmered and glistened while dimmed lights glow between the trees. She looked down to the two dying bodies, still struggling to set free. "Don't worry. It'll all end soon."

Prepare for a collection of short horror stories! Some will have that classic fairytale-type ending we're all familar with, but most of them? Not so much... The grisly antagonists will taint your innocent dreams with the blood and gore of sundry main characters: some are sweet and pure to begin with, while others were rotten from start to finish. These are true stories or better true mysteries These are real life mysteries that have Never ever been solved.

A skeleton was uncovered with a heavy stone crushing its chest, its mouth frozen in a silent scream. The stone was lifted, but by morning it had returned to the body, as if the earth itself demanded the weight remain to keep what lay beneath from rising.

A bound corpse unearthed from the earth grins upward, its frayed wrappings straining as though the grave could no longer hold what once was buried alive.

Across the world there is a country called Trey that was taken over by an evil king. He made everyone his slaves as a girl named Becky tries to save everyone.

A skull with a golden tongue spreads a suffocating silence, consuming voices and transforming its discoverers into mute victims bound to its curse.

An archaeological dig uncovers a perfectly preserved skeleton etched with strange symbols. As night falls, whispers rise from the soil, the markings shift, and the team begins to disappear-until only the bones remain, sitting upright, the earth beneath them beating like a heart.
