(Jekyll and Hyde AU) Hyde has taken an interest in chemistry, specifically poisons. His idea is to make the most deadly of poisons into helpful medicines. Despite his evil tendencies, he is able to push past it and make a change for the better. His alter ego had recently made a serum that allowed them to work as two separate life forms. After months of research and studying, he finally starts his first experiment on the deadly plant; nightshade. Jekyll had asked to join him, which he gladly accepted. Jekyll seeing this as an opportunity to make this his own idea and steal his discovery of poisons being made into medicines, attempts to take his idea. However, Hyde had gone to Utterson for assistance to sell his new product, which is a massive hit for its exotic nature. Eventually, overworking gets to Hyde and his interest in poisons eventually leads to his inevitable demise... ! Disclaimer ; no, there is no romance in this. And yes, this is based off of MazM's Jekyll and Hyde, so the story is placed in 1900 London. However, for the sake of the story, nightshade medication has not been quite invented, so atropine as not been made/discovered. So has digoxin (made with Foxglove).
