(Still ongoing!) A Wings of Fire fanfic, set years after book 15. Moontalons is a NightWing student at Jade Mountain Academy. She's no ordinary NightWing though. Having hatched under three blood moons, Moontalons not only has both NightWing powers on full blast, she can also see natural disasters and bad events incredibly well, along with being able to project her thoughts. A rather stressful life for the poor dragon. Her best friend, Calmtemper, a cheery and confident NightWing hiding an abusive past behind that smile, is her only companion. Unlike the protagonists in all those books and scrolls, Moontalons is more focused on getting her homework in on time than saving the world. However, when a rather sudden vision shows her that her school, her fellow students, and worst of all, her best friend, will soon be put in the path of a bloody conflict, Moontalons must put aside her school work (and her sanity) and try to figure out how in the three moons she's going to save all these dragons...and why she has to in the first place.
