As Opal runs from her home, she comes across Lonely Nights, a grunge music club that hosted the county's biggest alternative music scene. As her surroundings get more and more distorted, she continues to spiral down into the deepest hole of human hell. Will she go out a legend, or will she go out forgotten?

This is a preview of my upcoming short story, "Dawn of Absolute," about a girl (whose name is "Rosie" for now) struggling with apathy and a cold heart. Currently, the story is only 15% through its draft phase, and I don't want to reveal too much as many things will change. I am posting this, along with future previews, in hopes of gaining traction on this site. I want to boost my motivation to pursue my future career as a writer and develop a larger following once the story is finished. An unwarranted attack by an unprovoked enemy destroys Greenville. Three insane mental patients, Max, Jane, and Hong, find themselves narrowly escaping in the back of a beat-up car with their caretaker Imya, headed for the unknown countryside. With nowhere to go, and no medicine left to stop their hallucinations, false beliefs, and homicidal tendencies, things begin to unravel in the back of the truck as the four drive on beyond the only city they've ever known. As it becomes increasingly clear that Imya will not survive after sustaining serious injuries in their escape, Max, Jane, and Hong prepare themselves for an empty world where medicine and the long-gone doors of the mental facility can no longer help them escape from an every pressing enemy with unknown ambitions. A rewrite of a story I did in 2015 called "Somewhere Past Greenville/Greenville is Dead." Surrealism at its most horrifying.

Ever sence her quirk awaken at four Decker has been healing and training her quirk tirelessly. After several years of constantly battling her negative nihilistic and depressive mental health she began to be worn out from hero work. Her parents decide to go back to her childhood home to recuperate. But she hates that school more than anything. In fact she wants nothing to do with it. When she gets there it only seems that the heroes are the ones with death wishes,the plain green haired one especially.
