Taryn, a so-called 'Self-Annihilator', wanders across the cosmos aimlessly, her memories hazy as ever due to the fact she draws power from IX, the Aeon of Nihility. Her memories have become so unclear, however, that Taryn even forgets her own name, what she looks like and what her purpose is. Only thanks to her power she draws from The Nihility, she can remember everything...but what exactly is her goal? Or is that yet another thing she has forgotten? NOTES: - I'm not following the original storyline of Honkai: Star Rail, it's only heavily based off it. - I do not own any of the characters that occur in-game, nor do I want to claim them as my own.

Where were you? In an abyss of unknown... you were being watched by something unknown to you. You're scared... you knew you were asleep but didn't know why you dreamed of the same place over and over. The last thing you remember was being attacked. "WAKE UP!" Someone screamed to you. As your eyes open you were met with an unfamiliar face. The girl with pink hair was accompanied by another with grey... and a woman with red hair too. "Are you alright?" The pink haired girl asked. You were silent, just feeling relieved that someone saved you. You'd clutch onto her, feeling an attachment. "D-don't leave..." you'd mutter. "Hey it's okay!" She'd comfort you. "We should bring them back with us to the express..." you heard another voice. The express...? !!TRIGGER WARNINGS!! Will include scenes and mentions of trauma and abuse. I'm not going to put warnings in my chapters, this whole story is about recovering from past trauma.
