The Council, naturally, wanted plausible deniability. Shepard loves Garrus. You love Garrus. It's complicated really! When you find out that Shepard loves Garrus you seek the help of your team mates to figure out what to do with this complicated romance. You then find out that their is more to this complicated romance than you thought. You have to figure out how to get this settled and win Garrus's heart! Even in the most crazy ways possible.

The Reapers. What if we just said "fuck that" and cut them from the script? Well, that's my intention here. I'm mixing up Shepard's backstory to the max to try and add on to the gritty side of what falling through the cracks really feels like. Akuze, the Skillian Blitz and the Ruthless origins are all cannon in this personal AU, as well as the Mindoir and Orphan, except instead of being an Orphan on Earth, its Omega. I feel like the space kid is a little too idyllic for what I'm going for. Not to mention I plan on Shepard being a bit on the older side. How long would it take for a disillusioned Commander Shepard to finally cut the red tape and leave the Alliance? Who all will Shepard meet now that the Reapers are out of the picture, not forcing the script in to a funnel? Will she still make friends with our beloved Mass Effect cast? Or will they go completely different routes? Let's find out.

The last thing Shepard wanted was to have her ex-boyfriend aboard, but little did she knew how much she'd regret what she's said.

Shepard meets a handsome turian named Nihlus on the citadel, they end up talking and he buys her an apology dinner. Everyone thinks their a great couple but they deny the fact they are. Their "relationship" takes a turn when the mission on Eden Prime goes horribly wrong. Nihlus gets shot in the back by an old friend, left to suffer and bleed out. Shepard finds him and gets medical attention asap, the news Dr Chakwas gave her is terrible. Eventually she meets another turian by the name of Garrus Vakarian, she vowed never to fall in love again after what happened to Nihlus but she can't help the way this turian made her feel. He was completely different then Nihlus yet she loved them both. Eventually after a very long time Nihlus is okay, ( ME3) Shepard is now caught between which turian she should choose and the pair aren't making it easy on her. Her decision is Interrupted by her death, as usual. She gets back to the ship and finds both of the strong turians brawling over her and whose fault it was. Who will she choose? How will the other react? Murderous rampage? Leaving the ship for good? Failing to murder the one she chose or maybe they get away with it.
