بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ¤ Among those aspects wherein the guidance of deen is most tragically neglected is the occasion of nikaah. The blessings of this great 'Ibaadah are destroyed due to an abundance of sinful activities. This book has been written in an effort to enlighten the Ummah of the importance of conducting our nikaahs in a simple manner and to highlight the harms of having extravagant weddings and indulging in haram activities. May الله تعالى accept it out of his grace and mercy and make it a means of tremendous benefit for the Ummah.

"When will you come jaan?" sameer asked his soon-to-be wife in sulky voice, and she smiled at his desperation to see her. "Very soon mr.shohar, don't behave like a love sick puppy." She said in fake stern voice, walking on the silent road in slow pace. "Let us get married once, then i will show you my dear wife how much crazy I am in your love." He replied with a beautiful smile lingering on his face, and she softly hummed over the phone. "What if I don't come?" suddenly naina frightened him with her question, and sameer instantly scolded her - "Shut up, don't ever say this word, i will not talk with you." "Haye allah, why are you getting sentimental...i was just kidding." She replied in normal voice, trying to repair his melancholic mood. "For the sake of allah, don't ever dare to prank with me on this topic." Sameer said in solemnity, checking his watch over and over again to feel little relax, only one hour is left now for their Nikaah. "Fine...fine, don't scold me." Naina uttered in flat tone, wandering her decorated eyes around the road. "You are my world naina, I can't stay without you...tonight with the blessings of allah we are going to embark the new journey of our lives, i can't wait to make you my wife, and spend rest of my life with you. Please come soon jaan." Sameer was speaking on the call continuously, having no idea if naina is listening to him even or not. "Hello? hello naina?" He yelled out her name out of unknown fear. But suddenly, The line went dead. This was my one shot written for the People of colour awards who teamed up with Project Beyond The Veil and came with the idea of Not Another Muslim Love Story. It was to go against the cliche Muslim Love stories of good girl and bad boy. And this won third place! {Completed}
