This is a preview. Yet to be written. It has been a long while since the Kurta clan was brutally murdered. I, Kurapika Kurta, was the only survivor. The culprit was the Phantom Troupe, a group of merciless individuals that even the Zoldyck​ family wants to stay far away from. With a determined attitude, I got my revenge. Number 11 was my victim, they called him Uvogin. Did I stop there? Not at all. I played my cards right and now the leader of the Troupe was rendered nenless. Oh, and Number 9 went against my chain's rules which was punished by death. The rest of the members are no longer my greatest issue. Searching for the Kurta eyes are my top priority now. I should be happy. I've found most of the eyes and only a few more are out there. At least, I hope they are out there. Questioning on if they were out here or not, that wasn't what was bothering me. What was bothering me were my memories. During the Hunter Exam, I was sure to keep every memory fresh in my mind. Every scream, every cry, every blood stain I saw was a source of motivation for me. But why is it that with every jar of eyes I gain, more memories seem to disappear? Are they disappearing because I'm getting closer to completing my goal? The only thing I can remember are the days before the incident. Those days with Pairo and... another girl. She was two years younger than me and I remember her only smiling. She wasn't a Kurta, thank god. She was an average girl who was allowed to visit from time to time. Until she just disappeared. It was a few weeks before the incident when she stopped coming, and I remember missing her a lot. I don't understand it. That girl should be in the farthest parts of my memory. Slowly, she is taking over my head. I'm driving myself insane trying to remove her from my mind and keeping my focus on my goal. Another question has surfaced in my mind that I have yet to find an answer to. Why do I remember her even though we have been years apart?
