The whole dreamsmp islands were part of the one piece universe, they were located near the border of grand line. They were mostly isolated people that no one had seen, it was thanks to a barrier that were set by their God. But sometimes bits and pieces of the outside world finds its way inside the barrier. The Den Den Mushi, a snail with telepathic ability that were used as vocal and visual communications, were especially frequent, so they started breeding them. But the first one to use it to communicate outside the world was Philza, who decided to create a cozy podcast to whoever was listening to him. And soon Philza​ had people calling him and telling him about their adventure; pirates, navies and even civilians, so he relayed those info to everyone on the island. So, naturally they got curious and asked the one person that can sail and had a ship, to go out to the world and explore. The people on the islands started their own podcast, and naming theirs "The great adventure of the smp outside of Dream island", and soon the people outside started calling them smpers or Dream islanders.

Ok so most of these are written at like 3am when I have small bursts of energy so like yea.
