A story where Y/n and her fraternal twin sister, Alina, learn that they are Grisha and supposedly destined to help the Darkling destroy the Fold. Everything is going to plan until it isn't, and what they've been told about the Darkling isn't true. They escape their destined fate with the Darkling and along the way they meet a privateer, Sturmhond, who helps them evade capture. Unfortunately, Sturmhond is also deceiving them and he turns out to be more than just a privateer.
