It all began by another teenage boy with a dream of being his town's greatest magician ever with the name of "Nikolai Gogol" who invited Sigma to live with him in exchange of him being Nikolai's magic assistant. Or just an AU where Nikolai picks up Sigma before Fyodor and he wants Sigma to become his assistant as an exchange. - Note: Siglai-centered fic but Fyolai is a minor ship. All of them have platonic interactions though.
