Nightmare doesn't give a single fuck about anyone except himself (will be explained in the story). Dream is jealous of Nightmare (let's be honest, who wouldn't be🙄). Dream is sad and angsty boy. THEY HAVE A FATHERRRRR, LET'S GOOO. There IS logic!! !NO SHIPS, sorry! Ok so- I discontinued my last story and don't really plan on continuing it ever again unless I feel like it. I'm hungry for angst and the lack of High school sans aus make me sad. This is mainly focused on Dream sans, but other characters' angst will also appear. Warnings are in the first 'chapter'.

This being's true name is unknown, for every time someone tries to utter it, their throat grows dry and their voice is lost long enough for the name to slip their mind. For the purposes of this story, we shall call them Junimo, for this is a name that sparks joy.

- This is a fictional Dreamtale AU, anything that happens is not canon to the original besides some backstory. It's recommended to know the lore of Dreamtale first before reading this. Dream Joku hasn't seen or heard anything about his brother Nightmare in the last 50 years. His whereabouts were unknown, his allies were non-existent, and to put it short, nobody knew if he was even alive. But something strange has been going on.. On Dream's 582nd birthday, several hundred AUs started declining in positivity and immediately disappearing. With the AUs now stirred with fear and negativity, rumors spread of Nightmare's return.. but something was wrong with these rumors. Nightmare was described to be the size of a building, looming over all with an insane expression and evil in his heart. Dream, disregarding the rumors, sets out to go find his brother and make things right.. maybe even find a cure for his corruption. But until that happened, Dream had to be on his guard. SUMMARY: It's been almost 75 years since Dream Joku, the Guardian of Positivity, has been freed from his stone prison. Able to breathe freely at last, he spent the next 25 years tirelessly battling his own brother, Nightmare Joku, the fallen Guardian of Negativity, who aims to destroy all feelings of happiness in the world; his very own brother. But after Nightmare was vitally struck, he suddenly disappeared and was not seen again for the next 50 years. - Note: This AU is a spinoff of the original Dreamtale AU as well as their respected characters. I give full credit to the characters and backstory to their creators. - The idea for this AU was inspired off of a mashup of creatures the size of a mountain, as well as several old folklore stories. (Concept idea came out in: ~ 04/??/2023)

Although, it's not particularly a nice visit, as they ask a share of Pixie Hollow's land due to the destruction of their forest from humans. However, when Mandrake, the leader of the Boggans, comes back to life and rounds up his gang to make it bigger than ever, the Leafmen and the fairies will have to put aside their differences and team up to stop the bad guys from destroying the magic in Pixie Hollow. A/N: I don't know anything concerning the lore or background of these two fandoms so there might be some inaccuracies. This takes place after Epic (2013) and The Pirate Fairy (2014).
