Down in the smoke-smudged streets of Ketterdam, there is a ballerina who dances on the street corners, with six fingers on each of her hands. She wears a good wool coat, holds her chin up high, but at the end of the night, she begs for pennies just like the rest of them. In a city like this, she is uncanny. Starkly different from the grimy Barrel-rats that have control down here. And in Ketterdam, it's no good sticking out from the crowd. Unusual attracts the worst attention possible. Everyone around here wants something that's one of a kind, and Kaz Brekker's always looking to make a new investment.

Julia Lawerence is new to Ketterdam. Thankfully she's got Kaz Brekker watching out for her unknowingly. Through a seemingly random series of events, Julia Lawerence is brought into his most daring heist yet-the Ice Court. - I do not own any of the characters or setting except for Julia Lawerence. Leigh Bardugo own the world and the characters aside from the OC. - No smut or language. - Cover page is pending; Will have an official cover later. - I try my best with the grammar, but this is largely unedited aside from Google Docs recommendations.

Three years came and went, and Ketterdam is gradually repairing itself from the damage caused by the infamous Kaz Brekker, also known as the bastard of the Barrel or Dirtyhands. Wylan Van Eck and Jesper Fahey are in a close relationship and living in a house that previously belonged to Jan Van Eck, a jailed mercher and Wylan's father. Nina Zenik is living an exciting life in Ravka with her fellow Grisha and Inej Ghafa lives a free life on her vessel, the Wraith, and hunts slavers. The five of these criminals' paths merged to bring havoc to Ketterdam and have since lead them in many different directions. Despite the recovering city's best efforts, something is brewing once again in Kerch that will bring these theives, thugs, and soldiers together once again. These characters do not belong to me, nor does the story, settings, and ideas presented. The front cover and any other art in this story are mine. Leigh Bardugo and her amazing crew of editors and publishers otherwise own all rights to this work. If you have not read the Six of Crows duology, I highly recommend that you do so.
