The mother blinded her daughter from love, but the father was there to try to open her eyes. Elizabeth Baker and her father managed for 17 years, while her alcoholic mother started her own life and abandoned them. Elizabeth is so afraid to love or be loved since her own mother did not want her. Elizabeth's father is not in the best condition. Her father refuses to have her stay home alone. The only other "family" she has is her mother. This means she has to adapt to a whole new family. Her mother created a whole new life that didn't include Elizabeth. Elizabeth has no other choice but to move into her mother's new perfect family.
