She was tired of the constant moving that came with their mother's occupation, and when the opportunity for a supposed permanent stay at a research facility opens up after Olivia predicts a comet opening up a fissure, Vivienne doubts this'll be any different and refrains from getting attached to anything. The comet tore open more than a fissure, as it seems, because a walk in the forest leads her to discover a creature thought to be just a false tale. A dragon, one that appears to be actively despised by other species and purposely attacked on sight. Because, as it turns out, There was a whole world full of these strange creatures. Vivienne will have to learn how to work among a group after unintentionally learning that the rest of the teens present on the site also have dragons of their own despite her own reluctance to do so, while also navigating ways to keep the Aethercrest Fury she befriended safe from angry dragons believing him a threat. And, protect him, as well as the secret of dragonkind. ----------------------------------- ----------------------- As a new batch of Dragon Riders is formed, they will be put to the test on whether or not they can properly protect the secret existence of dragon-kind from being leaked out to the public. Httyd does not belong to me, this is based mostly in: Race to the Edge(both series), Book of Dragons/Legends, the 3 movies and obviously, Nine Realms (ik, basically the whole franchise but the book) When exploring around a mysterious fissure, a kid found out that his whole blood line is destined to protect dragons!... or so he thought. he just found a big winged cat that shoots lightning. Hey! this is just for fun, dont expect some high quality '13y kid whose first language isn't english and that has too much school and just got hit by a bus but will update soon' fanfic, this is just a reimagination from a person who had a way too big httyd hyperfixation might abandon it, but i dont plan on it dragon designs are a bit wonky, Thunder's has the credits, but I'll try to include a few sketches here and there. I'll try not to base it too much on norse mythology, so the world serpent will have a more httyd name, but I'll hint it here and there. lastly, this is not 'its for kids, do whatever', i dont care that it was aimed for kids, httyd deserved better, so, just enjoy.

Growing up as a daughter of the captain of the royal guards, Freja always had a pretty good image of what she wanted to be in life. To be one of the warriors.
