He also learns about there being people who can enter a humanoid beast form known as Zoanthropes, some use their abilities for good, others use their abilities for evil. So, Jason asks Nero for help in fighting Demons, Zombies, evil Zoanthropes, as well as psychopaths. Also, Nero is feeling down because his old girlfriend, Kyrie is with another man, so he meets Alice Tsukagami, a snowshoe hare based Zoanthrope who is a nurse, and they immediately hit it off. Along the way, Nero teams up with Jill Valentine, Chris and Claire Redfield, Rebecca Chambers, Max Evans, Ryu Hayabusa, Frank West, Yugo Ogami, and more as they fight this supernatural threat.
