After years of nothing, chaos broke in Ninjago City. Citizens have mysteriously gone missing, leaving the ninja in confusion. Weeks passed of this crisis, making the saviors feel useless, not being able to find a lead. Police have scouted the streets day in, day out, and alongside the ninja who traveled in shadows and atop rooftops. Their last adventure seemed to create consequences they never thought would snowball into something big. As a new force arises, the ninja struggle to keep up with the problems caused by their successful mission before, and the trouble being created by yet another villain.

Takes place between seasons three and four. Zane was gone. And Pixal wasn't taking it well. If only she could find a way to bring him back.. What if he was gone forever? And if he wasn't, would he even be the same?
