Marinette has recently given up on Adrien, realizing that he only sees her as a friend. She has been focusing on her schoolwork and has been more open to other people's feelings toward her. Nino feels that all Alya does is chase around LB and CN. He decides it best to end things. With Nino now single and Marinette be more open, they stat to hang out more often. They become really close and, slowly start having feels toward each other.
