After a chain of events on her second day in the city she finds a weird box in her room. Will Lia be able to take the previous Ladybug's place? Will she be accepted by the people of Paris? Or better yet... After Ladybug was presumed dead, Marinette was gone, too. ~~~ I have decided to take a break from my fanfictions to focus on getting my novels done, but I may take a break and update one or two.

Of all of the things that could go wrong in her life, Marinette Dupain-Cheng expected a little more pep in her step when they went right for once. I mean, this was a good thing right? She got accepted into her top choice university and was going to be studying fashion design at the alma mater of Gabriel Agreste, one of the most famous designers in the world and her biggest inspiration. The only problem? Marinette had never left Paris before, and now, she was living on her own in a completely different country. Across the world from everything she ever knew. Los Angeles was going to chew her up and spit her out.

As Cat Noir and Ladybug gain some help from a couple of new superheroes, there is also an evil that arises from the shadows.
