This fan-inspired project is created purely for entertainment and sets the stage for a connected trilogy for Splatoon. Echoes of Freedom - Origin Files begins not with ruins, but with revelation. This is a character-driven journey-Axel is his own person, with a mind shattered by war and choices only he can make. This is the story of Axel. The survivor. The one who remembers everything for now. You know, Most tales begin with someone waking up in a world already changed and being their new life. But not this one. Earth, 12,000 years later, after the flood, the new world belonged to creatures called Inklings & Octarians. Color is warfare. They battle across the cities, never questioning what sleeps below. But this story begins long before the oceans rose, before the skies split. Before humanity fell beneath its own ambition. Memory has roots. Truth doesn't stay buried forever. So let's go back 12,000 years before history was rewritten, where Axel had a choice, and he was ready to watch the world fall, even if it cost him everything. This isn't the aftermath.
