I live in the city of Vesuvia. I'm a magician, or at least, a magician in training. I've been living here since I was 7 years old. This is my story. You don't believe it's real? Why? Because it's about magic? Familiars? Other realms? Well, you know what they say. Of course this is all imagination, but who says that that means it isn't real? (Based on the game The Arcana: A Mystic Romance)

Beatrice "Birdie" Marino: a fun-loving, sarcastic and clever young woman. A pretty face by day and professional poker player by night, she loves puzzles and revels in the delights of leading a double life. When a routine foray to her childhood movie theater puts her smack dab in the middle of a 1920's Hollywood gangster film, Birdie meets the man who gives Jay Gatsby a run for his money-Nicky Valentino, head of one of the five mafia families of New York City. Right from the get-go, Birdie stares down Cupid's arrow and takes one to the chest, blissfully unaware of the dangers hiding behind Nicky's billion-dollar smile and loving gaze.

Akiko, the owner of the magic shop in Vesuvia, age 23, takes the plunge into an adventure she never imagined she'd ever experience. Her journey through the different Arcana may or may not even unravel something she craves to know... * ATTENTION! * The 'Fool' chapters are not relevant for the whole story. Doctor and magician, that is what you are. Who could believe that, magic could smear itself with the medical field? Nobody? Even though, you are the existence that proves that is possible? Living next to the magician and his apprentice, you will inevitably mingle yourself in an adventure, with people attracted, in a way or another, to the apprentice. They also happen to be your apprentice. Or should I say, 'was' your apprentice. What could have happened? Where are their missing memories? Will they ever remember? These, are the questions to which, you will receive answers, only, if you follow their adventures. So what are you waiting for? Come with us! [Of course, 'The Arcana' belong to Nyx Hydra, so none of this game's elements are mine. The only thing that is mine, is my own characters, Sierra Nova (the apprentice), Carys Aerial and Ciello. Also, please be aware that I may twist some parts, to make it bearable! I will also use some pictures, to make it easier for you, but in no way they belong to me. Please give the credits to the artists and not me, as I am only borrowing them! Of course, I will make six different route, because I want to respect, to my best, the content of the game. Also, keep in your mind that the apprentice's pronouns are they/them, so neither male nor female. The story is created as a mixture of the routes though especially at the beginning it leans a lot on Felix' route (as it seems more reasonable to teach the old lady magic than take her to bars to catch criminals or a long knight travel thing, plus i think he'd get along well with her) The base plot, most characters and some dialogue pieces belong to Nix Hydra
