Shu has never been good with confrontation. Unlike his best friend, Uki, he'd rather stay quiet and fade into the background while someone else took the reins. So when Uki started dating Luca, the new student everyone seemed drawn to, Shu didn't mind being invisible. But after the relationship ends, Luca's unwavering gaze becomes something Shu can't pretend not to notice anymore. And then Uki drops the kind of bomb only he could deliver: "Isn't it crazy?" Uki sighs, exasperated. "He kept telling me you were the reason we broke up. Like I can't make decisions for myself." Shu only nods, pretending to listen, his mind stuck on one fact: Luca thinks he ruined everything. He tries to ignore the sharp glares Luca keeps sending his way. But it's nearly impossible. If looks could kill, he'd be dead by now. Cool. Amazing. Wonderful. - Or; Shu didn't expect to be accused of stealing anyone's boyfriend. Yet, here he is. He also doesn't know how to handle it when his best friend's ex starts paying him more attention than he's ready for.
