Cora Sophia Brookes is trying to "make it" in New York's Harlem in the 1920s. Although surrounded by artists, poets, and jazz musicians, her life is a far cry from the glitz and glamour of the Cotton Club. A struggling artist, she does not have time for love. Nor does she believe in magic. Even as a child, Cora knew that it was just a fairy tale. Why then, does she have moments where she feels as if someone is missing? Why does she have brief periods where she would swear magical creatures such as pixies exist, and that she has seen them? Why does she feel as if she has forgotten something very, very important? Not even the students at the world renowned school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Ilvermorny, were safe from persecution for their magical abilities as a small portion of the student body mysteriously vanished. A group of unlikely friends find themselves caught between two worlds, and form bonds that would last a lifetime. With the second hunt for Witches and Wizards underway, a war between the No-Maj and magical communities is on the horizon. The students have little time for homework, let alone a war. Harry Potter is going back for his 3rd year at Hogwarts. This year Hogwarts is going on a field trip. A trip into the muggle world! IN THIS STORY HARRY WILL BE A PUREBLOOD AND HIS PARENTS WILL BE ALIVE. This is also my first story!
