I was really inspired to try a small one-two shot about Stephen and Tony at some point. Lost the plot a little bit, bear with me. sam didn't want to acknowledge the way his cheeks flushed when ponk turned and smiled at him. he averted his eyes and focused on a specific constellation he could not remember the name of, he doesn't really pay attention in science class. ponk followed his gaze and grinned, "that's draco. pretty, isn't he?" sam smiled, pulling his jacket over himself to cover up more so he wouldn't freeze to death. ponk continued to list off all of the constellations they could see, and sam was enraptured. sheesh, if ponk was his science teacher, it would be his best subject. they sat outside for what felt like hours, and it probably *was* hours, because when they were planning on saying goodbye, the sun rose and they stayed together just a bit longer to watch it. sam had never watched a sunrise. today was a day filled with many first times, and sam had a feeling that being friends with ponk would bring a whole lot more.
