This is a kind of fanfic of the story "no capes". Maddy and Fox take their last moment of peace before the big battle that will change their future forever. They don't know if they'll survive. The only thing they know is that they'll be going in the battle together.

When his parents died Jim Gordon was the officer on the case and was the one who talked to Dick. He was the one that made Dick want to be an officer. Barbara Gordon was an officer like her father and was Dick's partner until she got shot chasing a suspect. The injury may have left her unable to walk but she refused to stop helping those in need. She now works as a 911 dispatcher. Jason Todd is a doctor at Gotham general and Stephanie Brown is Jason's annoying intern who is determined to be his best friend. Tim Drake is an overworked crime scene investigator trying to catch his parent's murderer. Cassandra Cain is a dancer instructor for kids with disabilities. She was Dick's first case as an Officer in training. Damian Wayne is Bruce's biological son. He has a lot to live up to with all his older siblings being considered heroes of Gotham but for now, can he just be a normal kid? Duke Thomas is a transfer from bludhaven who has no idea what he got himself into.

You see, not everyone knows that the entire Biology Department happens to be on a committee of super villains- and Jackie is thrown right into it. In a new, fast paced college life filled with cute superheroes, undesirable super villain roommates, and, of course, spandex, Jackie finds out that maybe failing wasn't so bad after all.
