Ren Aether, a background person, loner finds himself in the backrooms while taking a normal detour from going home. As he explores, the world warps, The rooms he has been through changes, his mental health starts declining the more he stays in this world.

"If you aren't careful and you noclip out of reality in the wrong areas, you'll end up in the Backrooms..." One minute, Aris was taking a shortcut behind the old warehouse to get home before dinner. The next, the world glitched. The pavement turned to carpet, the sky turned into flickering fluorescent lights, and the silence was replaced by a hum that never stops. Now, he's trapped in Level 0-a 600-million-square-mile maze of empty, yellow rooms. There are no exits. There are no clocks. And despite the crushing emptiness, Aris knows one thing for sure: He is not alone. In a place where physics is broken and shadows move on their own, Aris must find a way to "noclip" back to reality before the hum drives him mad-or before It catches up to him. ⚠️ WARNING: Do not look at the ceiling. Isn't the backrooms the place you dread going to? Well, you are lucky because you have never - and hopefully will never have to - been there. It isn't the same for Harry and I though. It happened really quickly. One second we were in the real world, and then BOOM. We woke up in a place with yellow, mouldy walls, a damp carpet, etc. Read as we travel through the levels!

This set of files follows Corey D'Moore. Known on record to be male, age 20, and a college student before his disappearance on March 22, 9 years ago. Files which have been closed to the public will be recounted to you. Not much is known about what really happened when he disappeared, but his journals written both before and after the disappearance, by Corey himself, will be shown to you. Along with a recording device, which was once seized by the FBI, but later copied. The device is believed to be used by D'Moore, and is said to have recorded some of what took place during the time of his disappearance. Corey D'Moore is still publicly known to be missing, and if you have any information reguarding Mr. D'Moore, please contact *redacted* at *redacted*. A/N: This is a story I have been wanting to do for a long time, it is about the backrooms, which if you don't know what that is, I highly suggest looking it up before you read past "File 1". Edit: According to recent lore (12/2022), Ivan Beck was not present during the meeting with the Department of Energy. I might rewrite this to fit the lore better but for now, I will leave it as it is. I hope it can still be enjoyed. A fanfiction based on Kane Pixel's Backrooms series.
