We all experience moments of perfectionism. However, so-called "normal perfectionists" derive a very real sense of pleasure from the labours of a painstaking effort, while neurotic narcissistic perfectionists are unable to feel satisfaction because in their own eyes they never seem to do things well enough to warrant feelings of satisfaction. The relationship between narcissistic behavior and perfectionism is perplexing. In order to begin to understand how complex it is, it is useful to understand the difference between healthy and unhealthy narcissism. There is a world of difference between healthy narcissism and unhealthy narcissism when it comes to going in "search of our own excellence". "Try not to be stupid next time, okay?" When he's told shortly after graduation that he didn't actually pass and, in order to truly earn his diploma, he must redo his senior year math credit, Casey Jones isn't sure how things could get worse. He knows school isn't his strong suit, but faced with yet another failure, he wonders if it would be better to just give up. Then, things do get worse, and he loses his dad in a car accident that he blames himself for. Spiralling into depression, Casey faces a future that he can't picture. Everyone is moving on with their lives, moving on to bigger and better things, and he's stuck in the same place he's been for years. His dad is dead, his sister moves out, and he knows it will only be a matter of time before the friends he has left leave him behind. No one feels the way he does, and he's sure that that's the truth until he meets her. She has secrets that she won't share and a past that she keeps hidden. They share the darkness and yet, together, they start to see things in a new light.

The subject of 'Narcissism' has intrigued us for many decades, but social scientists now claim that it has become a "modern epidemic". narcissism lies on a continuum from healthy to pathological. Healthy narcissism is part of normal human functioning. It represents the required self - love and confidence based on real achievements and the ability to overcome setbacks. But, narcissism becomes a problem when one becomes excessively preoccupied with the self and seeks complete admiration and attention, with complete disregard for others' feelings. Lack of satisfaction of this need leads to substance abuse and major depressive disorders. In adolescents, this causes 'Substance Dependency Disorder' (SDD) - they display overt narcissistic and prosocial behaviours, which show a connection between self - centeredness and addiction. These substances include sedatives like alcohol, psychedelics and hallucinogens like marijuana and LSD, stimulants like cocaine, narcotics like opium, heroin, and morphine, and anti-anxiety drugs like Xanax. Assc Direct channel has a contribution to refining the life of many people. They deliver management coaching for self-improvement and also tell the various ways to manage mental disorders quite significantly. The main concern of entire ASSC Direct team is to deal with the Narcissistic behaviour; an egocentric highly selfish person can be so dangerous sometimes that he can harm the loved ones for his benefit.
