Ted, a 16-year-old transfer student, comes to Ruddleside High School hoping for a fresh start and a chance to leave his past behind. But adjusting to a new school turns out to be harder than he expected. Between awkward first impressions, growing drama between students, and old problems slowly catching up to him, Ted finds himself stuck in the middle of conflicts he never wanted to be part of. As tensions rise and friendships begin to change, he has to figure out who he can truly trust. Will Ruddleside finally become the peaceful new beginning he's been searching for, or will it only bring more trouble into his life? ------------------------------ Author: This is a High School AU of Nocturnals. Some elements from the game will be referenced since I really want to make this feel distant from the game. Updates may be slow, not just because I'm busy but also because I don't really have a layout for how I want the story to go. I am just writing whatever comes to mind😂. Hhhhh I was just bored out of my mind so I just go, hey why not make a book for my traditional/digital art cuz I want ppl to see? Years after the two parted ways, Ted never felt the same without Diego. He wanted to be a better person, not only for himself but for 𝘩𝘪𝘮. Ted embarked on his self discovery journey, hoping he'd get the chance to right his wrongs... all whilst trying to survive. A Nocturnals fanfic inspired by one of the endings 'Crash and Burn'. This will have spoilers for the ending if you have not seen it!! Some parts of the story will contain fan interpreted elements to fill in unknown gaps in the story, it may not be canon! In this ending, Ted was cold and stuck in between incompetent and competent. He left Diego's guitar in the abadoned train tracks, and indirectly got Maggie killed. This information is important!

Prey. In the year 2593, that's what we became. When the Nocturnals landed on our planet, we thought we'd be able to handle them. But how can you defeat a predator shrouded in darkness? One man took it upon himself to try. He experimented on infants, trying to create the ultimate soldier to fight humanity's greatest enemy. Eventually, though, he realized that in order to kill a predator, one must become the animal themselves.
