In Vienna's gilded concert halls, pianist Tiara Farr sees music as colors-vivid patterns no one else perceives. When a lost 18th-century nocturne triggers violent visions of a royal assassination, Tiara's gift becomes her curse. The score's haunting notes map a chilling confession, and decoding its secrets draws her into a deadly conspiracy. A shadowy lineage, guarding their ancestor's sins, will stop at nothing to silence her. As Tiara unravels the music's blood-soaked truth, she risks her career, sanity, and life. Will she expose the past in a performance that could be her last, or be consumed by the darkness she sees? Nocturne for the Dead is a gripping thriller where music unveils murder, and one woman's hidden brilliance could change history-if she survives.

When the world makes you feel all alone, when it dares to turn against you, face them fearlessly for there's someone next to you." On the day of the music festival, our teenagers are pulled into the world of fiction. A band of four, bonded by music, yet in a tale out of tune. Anomalies in a story set in stone will never belong, so they must choose to leave or simply follow along. A nocturne played til the very end, and a story only theirs to bend. It's interesting and the way the characters think is surprising and dynamic. And I love how its flawed and each character is unique but yet connected in a way. Just everything about the book is simple but very complex." - @twinkle15star "I have been searching for a book with a complex yet unique story and I'm glad I found yours." - @redyrossyred "...Adore the plot, characters, and overall feel of the chapter (and novel). Rose is plagued by a nightmare. A nightmare foretelling of her death, a death delivered by a strange boy with talons and bright yellow eyes. She soon discovers the facade behind this dream, and that not all her thoughts and dreams are what she believed them to be, but that they'd been tampered with. This nightmare was indeed very real, and when the star of it appears to her in reality she learns that she is a very important part of a centuries old feud that is much bigger than herself, in a world of strange creatures hidden in plain sight; She must decide between who she will stand with, even when the lines drawn between what is right and wrong are marred along the way, and the kindling and termination of a deceptive romance develop. In different kingdoms of liars and deceivers, Rose treads carefully with who she can trust, but for someone that has the lives of many depending on her, is her judgment enough?
