It isn't an every day run of the mill fantasy, it is a legendary fantasy. there are assholes, love interests, people with magical abilities. . . I realize that that kind of describes the fantasy genre in general, but what makes this story special is that it's characters are deeply thought out. I mean, I think they are. Just read the damn book, why are you even reading the description? Nerd.

Tatum has been through 5 homes this year, bounced around for their constant fighting. Soon enough they'll be on house 6 if not a group home. In all honesty, they're scared of loosing everything they have in this current home. William has managed to stay in the same home for about 2 years now, he's terrified of acting out. The Dexs consider anything he does as acting out. If he goes to school, he gets beaten, if he doesn't he doesn't get to eat that day. It's a vicious cycle. Alice always wanted siblings, she's been an only child as long as she remembers. After Yet another year of Alice asking for siblings, her mothers call their local adoption agency about any kids that would be near Alice's age that they could adopt. Little do they know how troubled these kids will be.

I wrote this for a roleplay that I was taking part in. Unfortunately, it does not have any actual dragons in it. The prompt was along the lines of 'mourning the death of a loved one.' The roleplay itself was a combination of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean culture. I have a better knowledge of Japanese, so my response ended up like this.
