Kris, the only human living in Hometown, has a normal life there with Toriel. He and Susie, an unlikely friend, entered in a closet which led them to the Dark World. Now he meets Ralsei, a princess that waited her whole life for the heroes, and a tale of Love and Hatred is about to begin. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ As you may have noticed, Ralsei is a female and Kris a male. I don't own any of the characters, including images and music used on this story. Most of them are from Toby Fox. May contain lack of cohesion because English isn't my first language. Not everything written here is canon and the book itself isn't of course canon. It's mainly a novelized version of Deltarune but with the lovely Kris x Ralsei ship. Enjoy!

The War of Kings. That was the name given to the war that started 15 years ago in the Clover Kingdom by a royal family. They had plotted to destroy the entire kingdom. The battle was long due to them being very powerful nobles, with the might of the now Wizard King and Magic Knight Captains being the only thing to stop them. Being the son of two war criminals, Lamine has grown up ostracized and hated by many. He only exists because he's on a tight leash. After a chance encounter with one of his "fans", Lamine is given a chance to take the Magic Knights Entrance Exams--all the while the phantoms of his parents' legacy constantly looms over him.

Then, one day, Liebe, unable to keep quiet anymore, tells Asta about his past. Including about a certain someone who uses the devil that killed Licitas powers. Asta cannot stay anymore. So he flees in the night. He is, however, unsuccessful on his escape attempt, and now must deal with the consequences of his actions. Look into the world of the Deltarune: Neko Adaption AU. Where as humans are replaced with the feline likeness that is the neko. Nekos being the commin denominator considering that they're practically the same as humans, despite their cat features. So rest assured, everything is pretty much the same. Other than humans being replaced with nekos. Kris is a very particular neko though...be it nekos are very curious and free creatures. 'The world is your litter box' type mentality. Kris, while being distant and isolated all the time, he often questions this reality and what becomes of it when the world is tasked with not being absurd for once. Nekos are advanced to be of only two genders. Male and female. However, bisexual, trans, lesbian and gay seem to exist just fine. But for Kris? Life is just a large cat kennel that himself and his fellow nekos are trapped in, waiting to be adopted by whatever life's battles may be. And if they do not reach their goal of adoption, then they are put down. Sounds about right. Notes: -Please don't batter me about Kris, Frisk, and Chara's gender okay? This is an AU. I am not doing this as an offense to the canon or any other interpretations of KFC in other media. -Making Kris a guy just makes it a bit easier for me.
