After David Reed (the friendly king) died his son Harvey took to the throne. Shortly after Harvey began to have dreams where he seen what was going to happen in the near future and how he should act. The nearby kingdoms eventually couldn't stand their people being slaughtered like flies and decided the king needs to be overthrown, beginning a great civil war.

Once upon a time, the Sun's solar flares light up the sky like the 4th of July. This caused the Earth to overheat, thus killing millions of people. Soon, it was discovered that a side effect of the solar flares (other than the millions dead) was a virus that took over a person's body, making them go crazy. This is called the Flare. A corporation, WICKED, put together an experiment of sorts to find a cure for the Flare. Using dozens of children, they made the Maze. Month after month, a new person is added to their Maze, adding variables to their sick little experiment. They had to start somewhere, someone had to spend an entire month in the Maze before someone else came up, right? Well, that person is (Y/N). She is the leader of the Gladers with Newt by her side. Little does she know that he has a tiny (or huge) crush on her. She is the only girl in the Glade, and that makes her the Alpha Female in a den full of boys. This'll be a horrendous journey of me trying to become a better writer so bear with me.
