This book is about my life, all true stories, all real people, all real scenarios. I can't imagine how some people's lives may have been different than mine, but I feel as if I have lived one shitty one. I do have the power to change it and someday I will but for now I am just going through it and need this outlet.

"Why are you so difficult?! All you do is complain about how you're the victim and yell about things that don't matter!" I cried out trying to get him to listen to me, "Nothing I do is good enough for you. I tried so hard this past year to help you, to get you to help yourself! But no. You can't change! Not even in a million years of people trying to fix you! You're just...Broken."

Jack Rose is a regular guy who loves to create music. He loves to mix genres and experiment with different sounds. He writes his own lyrics, he produces his own songs, he mixes and edits everything, and he even typically films his own music videos. He doesn't have a big budget, but he uses everything he gets from work he does around the house and for other people and pours it into his music. His dream is to sell albums and to one day work with some of his favorite artists, but his parents aren't very supportive. His dad is a deacon at the church they go to, his mother is an interior designer. Jack's dad believes that Jack's love for music is God sent and he needs to focus on his relationship with God instead of riches and fame. Jack's mom wants him to be a part of the church's choir as well as focus on his studies so that he can get a more secure job. Jack loves his parents and he knows his parents love him, but he feels he shouldn't have to hide his passion from them and they should be supportive. Though he understands where they're coming from, Jack chooses to believe in himself.

Most people now a days are quick to judge a book by only its cover upon first glance. One of the oldest sayings that I can remember is "Don't judge a book by its cover" Growing up I never knew that even though I truly agreed with that saying I now more then ever would cherish it. As I watch so many children struggle with mental illnesses and know deep down inside that they are just children trapped inside their own minds and not the monsters they are perceived to be.

My name is Desper Conray, I am a lesbian but my parents are homophobic, I can only imagine what they would do if they found out. My name is Cody Goodwin, I don't believe in God but my parents do, they care a lot of how their son turns out and I don't want to worship someone I don't believe in. My name is Zay Xair, I am African and I just moved to america. People in my new school seem to only care about how I look, talk, and what race I am. They say a bunch of racial names torwads me and my new name in that school is Zero. I don't know what to do.
