Three people are stuck inside a prison with an endless staircase and clues. The clues may be their salvation but only if they can find them. But to do that, they will have to face their fears and stick together. In this grim-dark world haunted by ghosts of the people who failed to or gave up trying to escape, facing their fears and accepting their differences ends up being the only way they survive and move forward. After all, who's to say there is a way out?

Two lovers in the 1900s didn't end up together. The woman, a noble, was forced to marry a duke to secure her family's standing. The man, a commoner, was wed to a childhood friend from a modest merchant family. Their love, once fiery and full of stolen letters and secret meetings, was buried beneath duty, pride, and the bitter feud between their families. Years passed. The woman became a respected duchess, raising children with grace but an aching heart. The man, though content in his quiet life, often found his thoughts drifting to what could have been. They never spoke again, though sometimes, in the quiet of the night, they'd both dream of the same riverbank where they last met. Fast forward to the present day. Unknowingly bound by the same bloodline, their grandchildren met at university-Elira, a free-spirited historian with a sharp tongue and a love for old letters, and Kael, a musician raised by a single father who spoke little of the past. They clashed, they bickered, then they fell-deeply, unexpectedly, as if the universe had been holding its breath for this very moment. When they discovered the truth-that their grandparents had once loved each other but were torn apart-they felt like living echoes of a love story left unfinished. So they ran. They eloped in the countryside where no family names mattered, married beneath the same tree where Elira's grandmother once carved a secret heart into the bark. Their wedding was small, filled with laughter and sunlight. No grand halls. No ducal blessings. Just love. This is what the group of teenagers follow during a horrible outbreak of a virus. The undead roaming the ruins of what used to be cities and chaos with no secure set of rules or government. Letting everyone to do what they want. No hope in anything, these teens take it upon themselves to survive through everything, from cannibalistic creatures, to their own hunting them down. Nothing is easy. No where to hide just running constantly.

This is literally a book about dystopian, utopian or a mix of the both mini sagas (kinda says in the title) Each story will be about 50 words ish long :D I own all characters if any names are mentioned so don't take them lol :/ This will also be LGBTQ+ safe place/book so if you don't like that then leave pls:)

Inspired by a writing prompt, I think. This was written so long ago, maybe two years or so apart from my more recent works? I wrote it with a timelimit of fifteen minutes? I could edit it, but I think I'll leave my younger self's work alone. I was so proud back then, I showed it to my parents.
