Through a series of conflicts and unlikely friendships, Espen is whisked into an alternate dimension where everything is not quite as it seems, and he is forced to take on a life of destiny and importance as he discovers that the kingdom has been sought after for years by a wickedly intelligent emperor. Sequel to The Kingdom of Noitcif. Please read the first book before starting on this one. It's been two years since Engres Whitewood was sent to jail. Two years of joy for Noitcif, two years of turmoil for Ytilaer. But everything changes when Engres escapes from his prison, giving Noitcif both a questionable declaration of loyalty to their kingdom, and horrifying news about what Ytilaer has done while he's been imprisoned. He tells them that Ytilaer is taking over the Base World.
