LeadershipGap
Writing this book required honesty I could not have forced earlier in life. Some
truths need time before they can be spoken without breaking the one who carries
them. These pages are shaped by prayer, memory, disappointment, conviction,
and the slow mercy of God. They are not the final word on every form of
childlessness, nor do they attempt to speak for every woman or man who carries
that reality. They are simply my offering of truth, written in the hope that what
was once used to shame may now be used to heal.
If this book reaches those who have carried silent questions, I hope it offers
company. If it reaches those who have judged too quickly, I hope it offers
correction wrapped in grace. And if it reaches the Church, I hope it becomes a
small instrument of gentleness-one that helps believers listen more carefully,
honour more widely, and recognise that some of the most fruitful lives are not the
ones the world has been taught to notice first.
