Nokken Stories

My name is Nøkken. I am one of the sons of Ægir and the twin to Näcken. This is my story, come listen to it. (This takes place in the Unforgiving:ANH universe. I dubbed the Hymn verse. Also an AU.) (I own this version of Nøkken and the characters in this book. I do not however own Näcken or Skogsrå. I also don't own Nøkken's appearance but I do own his personality.) (This is also on Quotev.)

Marna was just your average american woman, or at least, as normal a famous writer can get. She loved the seaside, rivers, lakes, anyplace near water. She was purely happy, until the day her father, a man who left her and her mother, gives her a call. Telling her to move to Sweden, she packs her bags and stays with a young Swedish cafe owner in one of Sweden's little towns, called Mangata. After taking a swim in the town's lake and nearly drowning because of a myth the town believes in, strange things happen to her. A man standing over her at midnight, getting slightly-webbed hands, and the locals whispering about something. Something old and ancient. And angry. On the day she affords a beach house near the woods, the young cafe owner, Elsa, gets her cafe burned down. Marna lets Elsa stay. And when she goes on a walk in the woods, a young man bumps into her, afraid, alone and broken. She brings him home, only to discover he has no clue about the modern world, and likes to stay in the bathroom longer than a person should. Who and what is he and can she help him, or will this all fall apart?

ON HOLD Octavia Johnson is an ordinary girl living an ordinary life in an ordinary world... or so she thinks. When a mysterious boy saves her life one day, everyone and everything seems to be changing in more ways than one. There is a lot more to the world than meets the eye... In the stream of a forest lives the nokken, a mythical creature who with the sounds of his violin lures children into the water where they drown. But what happens when instead of the child, The nokken is the one who gets pulled away?

A poem based on the Swedish Folklore creature known for luring people to the its watery home with its beautiful human form and exquisite violin playing and drowning them.

My first poem. Based on the Swedish folk tale about a creature that lurks in the lake that takes the form of a handsome man and plays violin to lure people into the water and drown them.

As you may have guessed from the title I'm a Norse Reconstructionist Heathen. (Which is different from Norse Pagan and Asatru) Some will be rants about various things: Like what Christians did to the Norse people or thoughts I have about certain ideas. I will also discuss my thoughts on some creatures and their possible heritage. I'll also be typing informative (sometimes short) chapters.
