This story is meant to be a theoretical continuation of the story begun in Avatar: The Last Airbender and continued in Avatar: The Legend of Korra. As the previous two Avatar heroes were an Airbender and a Waterbender, the hero of this story will be an Earthbender. This story will feature or mention characters and locations from these series, while being centered around some original characters. Except for my original characters, these properties are owned entirely by Brian Konietzko, Michael Dante DiMartino, and Nickelodeon. I make no claim of ownership and seek simply to create an original story for fans of the Avatar universe to enjoy.

Much of the southern Ravengard is now firmly a part of the Empire, and pioneer towns and cities stretch deep into the untamed interior. On the Frontier, the lines blur. Suni and Raven live in a state of uneasy cooperation, trading and negotiating with each other whilst always watching for a knife in the back. But simply surviving in the untamed outback, far from the security of civilisation, may demand trust in ancestral enemies that neither peoples are ready to place. Prejudices must be confronted, old certainties questioned, and new ways explored, if peace is ever to return to the Ravengard.
