No one knows that every four years two new warriors are chosen to fight the forces of evil. Dream Maybor, Bash Johnson's cousin, is rumored to be mean and hateful but these rumors are thrown out the window when a nice and sweet girl begins to attend Norrisville high school. With 3 more years of high school ahead of him, Randy Cuttingham has defeated the sorcerer and banished the sorceress to the soul realm. Not even a day after the battle the Nomicon had begun to act strangely. It would open and close randomly and glow whenever Randy touched it. With almost no ninja responsibilities Randy becomes anxious, waiting for the next attack, training nonstop, he gains a new sword from Ward, and goes through old lessons trying to stay ready for whatever came next. Even with the training, he was not prepared for what life threw at him next.

This takes place after the defeat of the sorcerer.The tengu has escaped from the eye of eternity and assumed his human form and has a change of heart and chooses to no longer be evil, But new more powerful more dangerous enemies has risen those who sorts the power of the tengu and the ninja. Randy must team up with Kai the tengu to defeat this new enemy. As Randy learns the sad tale of the tengu he also learns of a world he never knew existed a world of magic, yokais, onmyōji and gods. Randy must fight to keep the people he loves safe but he shall not fight alone.( I do not own rc9gn. This is how I think season 3 would be like.)
