Marinette considered herself to be very unlucky. The crown princess of China didn't exactly have a pleasant childhood. Pair that with a double life in France that she had left behind, and a state visit as empress to where she had left that life, familiar faces recognise her, and they want answers. To Adrien, dance was just a selection of movements. A well rehearsed transition from one gesture to the next; the brush of a hand, the closeness of bodies, a well-timed duet between two people to entertain. His mother had encouraged him to dance from his heart and love his music - a metaphor he never understood, until that one day when they stopped. The pregnant pause in the combination of fluidity, finally making everything clear. It wasn't the quality of the choreography or the characters they were playing, it was the girl twirling effortlessly around in his arms. For, when Adrien finally found the right partner, that's when the music truly began.

Marinette stared at the note that sat on her desk, innocently, with a rose on top of it. It had to be for someone else. Not for her. Someone like her didn't deserve the beautiful words written in the note. Whoever it was meant for, was gonna love it.

He was tired, tired of everything, from transforming into a cat everyday to being cooped up in his own house, he just wants to be free, to feel normal, he wants to break free from this blasted curse. He needs to find it quick. On his journey in finding the cure he had met a beautiful woman and had kept him company ever since. Will they ever find the cure or is it too late before they can?

Marinette had a secret... A big one. But no one knows of this secret, but her godparents. Lila had gotten Marinette's friends to turn on her. The only ones that believed Marinette was Juleka, Luka, Rose, Nino, Sabrina, Kagami, and Chloe. Marinette hung out with the group and they became closer. The only interaction she had with Lila and the others was when they were yelling at her for "bullying" Lila. The class gets sent on a trip to China, for being the top class in end of year exams and to be in attendance of the princesses appearance back into society. Lila gets Marinette in trouble multiple times on this trip but Marinette doesn't care. Although, before this trip, Marinette gets close with a blonde haired, blue-gray eyed boy.
