My biggest inspiration for finally uploading what was once an overly bloated backstory that my DM surely trudged through reading, was Travis Baldree's Legends and Lattes/Bookstore and Bonedust novels. R.A. Salvatore and Terry Brooks have had their time. I believe more fans of Dungeons and Dragons should begin publishing their work in various capacities.
