Adalyn bared many scars. The ones on the inside were just as ugly as the ones on the outside. They covered her from head to toes. She thought she knew misery but life proved that misery has no end when it came down to her. Adalyn wasn't warned when things took a turn to a dangerous road. It led her to a castle where a king and a queen stole her reign, to a sister that stole her soulmate and to a war that may end her life. Adalyn was Omerna's child and she was blessed to the bone, since her first life.

A college love story between the believer of God and non-believer.

In a world where people are separated into two categories, the believers and the nonbelievers. You go into the mind of a teenage boy who has fallen in love with the quiet girl he sits next to.

What do you do when you wake up one morning and see an unfamiliar boy sitting on the chair across your bed? Scream? Makes sense. I did too. "You can see me?" He looked at me like I was crazy. My mom comes up the stairs to find me screaming in my empty room and sends me to school thinking it was just a crazy tactic to not go to school...again. He follows me everywhere I go. "Why don't you leave me alone?" I asked. "I can't. I'm your guardian angel, " He replied. "That tactic may work with other girls, not me." I said. Turns out no one can see him except me. But I start to see other boys and girls around the people I know and they are all dressed like this boy. 'Could they actually be guardian angels?' I wonder. But I don't tell him that. Can't let him think I believe his delusions. I'm Christine, it means follower of Christ. Ironically though, I don't believe in God and guardian angels and all that... Love? Yeah right.

WHY. What's was on my mind. Why do I have to walk this void of emotion, that everyone seems to know. But why Am I so foreign to it? WHY? Why should I have to be like them? Why? Why is it that I feel like I'm looking into something, instead of being in it? Why do people tell me I'm so ignorant to this emotion they call 'love'? They don't know why I think that. But what do they know. They are just kids, just like me. Why is a very complex word. It can mean many different things, but not just a question.

Charlie doesn't believe in love. He is as skeptical as they come. Jade believes in love. She is trusting and is more ruled by emotions. What happens when two opposites come together?
