My attempt at creating a Western reboot for Kamen Rider Black.
"Power isn't inherited. It's engineered."
Long long ago, 21st century. In a world governed by the Gorgom Consortium-a shadow ring of heads of state, tech moguls, and military titans-democracy is a well-choreographed lie. At the top of this pyramid sits the world's first trillionaire, a dying King who needs a successor to maintain the status quo of a global system that feeds on the blood of the working class.
Cathy Mitchell and Nathan Mitchell were never meant to be children. They were R&D projects. Born during a solar eclipse and refined in the sterile darkness of a government black site, they are the Century Kings: biomechanical weapons designed to lead the next era of global tyranny.
But on their nineteenth birthday, the ritual goes wrong.
Cathy escapes into the neon-drenched, rain-slicked streets of a crumbling America, carrying a stolen nanotech core and a fractured mind. Taken in by the Dawsons-a working-class family whose lives are being crushed by the very company Cathy's father owns-Cathy must learn what it means to be human in a body designed for mass destruction.
Now, as the world slides toward a manufactured World War, Cathy must don the jagged, monstrous armor of BLACK SUN to dismantle their father's empire. But standing in their way is the perfected patriot, the golden child of the military-industrial complex, and the brother they left behind: SHADOW MOON.
The sun is setting on humanity. The eclipse is coming.
