Watch as the majority of the students (guy and gal alike) and even some staff begin to fall for the new girl. And why is she carrying booze?! In a universe where Junko Enoshima never existed, Hajime Hinata and his fifteen best friends have just graduated high school. The sixteen of them decide not to start college right away, but to explore the world in the most natural way- Take a road trip. With a seemingly-unnatural car setup and Nagito Komaeda showing up twenty minutes early to pick Hajime up, Hajime is feeling unsure about this idea, taking a summer away from his family and running away. But, he soon learns that having his friends with him is the most comforting feeling of all, and the protection of just being together can outlast anything he'd ever felt before. Join Hajime Hinata and his friends for a road trip that leads all over the place- physically and emotionally. Notes: -The seemingly-lazily-made cover will be explained in the prologue. -The only spoilers for the actual SDR2 are in the note below. -Some of the characters are a bit OOC due to the fact that this is non-despair, so some of their qualities that were only available in despair au would have disappeared (-SDR2 SPOILERS- examples: Nagito doesn't ramble about hope, Izuru doesn't exist, Mikan is still quiet and shy, Akane isn't nearly as aggressive, Saionji doesn't tease the others, Twogami is his own person, Peko doesn't serve Kuzuryuu, ). -But also, in this AU, a few things that probably would have stayed the same have changed, considering that it's an alternate universe-- (-SDR2 SPOILERS-) Like Nagito's brain diseases and the fact that he's an orphan. Nagito's luck cycle is also not present as often, although he may be referred to as 'lucky' or 'unlucky' at points. -I'm going to try my best here, hope you like it!

Just to clarify: This is a non-despair AU. When Hope's Peak Academy decides to spread it's scouting overseas, one American, Ultimate Soccer Star gets transferred from Hope's Peak's American school to Japan. What adventures await him as he travels to join Class 78 of Hope's Peak?

Hajime was a low "Normal" with only his android, Chiaki, and his best friend, Makoto Naegi, who was a Levelis. Hajime made money by helping at the market as an advertiser, and was fairly stable despite no longer having his parents. His life had just become a dull, normal life. Which was to be expected from someone labeled a Normal. However, everything changes when Hajime gets in a little trouble with the law and meets a cyborg guard by the name of Nagito Komaeda... terminology: Cyborgs (part android part human) Humans Android (full robot: AI) Roles: "The Highests" A group of ten people that run the country "The Legions" (high ranks- the rich people) "The Chosen" (Those destined for great things- each with high talents. Most end up going to "The Legion" or "The Highests") "The Levelists" Those that arent rich, but get by "The Normals" The poor. Those with hardly anything. Beggers. "The High Guard" The high-ranked guards- only used for "The Chosen, The Legion, or the Heighests) "The Middle Guard" used to go around in patrols in the normals area "The Lower Guard" those of lowest ranking- basically simply patrolling and making sure the poor do not get out of line.

Shuichi -when he is a kid- lives with his parents and his uncle in Japan before they had to move to America, where he left his only childhood friend, Kokichi. Years had passed, and ever since he had moved overseas, Kokichi had made some new friends: Maki and Himiko. Their first high school year only started for them, but the murderous group that was once in America named 'The Despairs' had travelled to Japan, and was followed them was none other than the young detectives Shuichi with his non-biological sibling Tsumugi. They both enrolled in the same high school as Kokichi and his friends and things happened. Now how will this go as Shuichi and Kokichi solve things out while Shuichi's on the road to getting the Despairs to justice? And how will he do that? ーーーーーーーーーー Since this story is about 4 HOURS (I know, it's crazy), I decided to make it into a separate book because anyone (I know you're one of them) would be completely annoyed that it's a long story with only one page ;-; The previous one (with short stories and fillers): "Some DRV3 Stories," will only be for short stories and fillers ONLY, and not with long stories like this one.
