In it, she promises to never settle for someone who hides her again. Theme: Letting go is painful, but loving yourself is the first step to healing. Chapter 3 - The Letter I Kept (Final Chapter) As Elena slowly moves on, she meets Micah, a quiet, artistic boy who sees her for who she really is. Their friendship grows naturally, through art and quiet talks. He never asks her to change or hide. He draws a picture of her and gives it to her with kind words that make her feel seen. Elena writes him a real letter - one she doesn't tear up or hide. For the first time, she feels brave enough to show her heart openly.
