Carrie Rice is in need of a boyfriend so she can prove to her parents that she's not a sleaze--to prove she can settle down. She's desperate and will practically take whoever, or even whatever, comes at her. James Lustson is in need of a job, or his parents kick him out of the house and he'll have to pay his own way through the rest of college. Carrie needs to prove to her parents she can handle her life without them and by doing so she must show off some arm candy. James is perfectly okay with his new-found job, until Carrie drops the bomb. No sex? He'll find a way around.
